'Garden Mein Ghoomne Wale Bande': Yuvraj Singh, Suryakumar Yadav Join the Banter on Rohit Sharma's Social Media Post
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma's social media post alongside the side's youngsters caught the eye of star T20I batter Suyakumar Yadav and former all-rounder Yuvraj, who chimed in on the banter.

Team India consolidated their position at the top of the ICC World Test Championship Standings with an incredible 4-1 series win over England at home.

India surrendered the opening game of the series before coming back strong to claim the four subsequent games to claim the series. The series also witnessed some incredible contributions from the younger brigade, including Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan.

Following the conclusion of the series, skipper Rohit Sharma shared an image of himself alongside the young players with a caption that read, “Garden mein ghoomne wale bande”.

The caption was a reference to Rohit’s light-hearted comments during the Vizag Test which were overheard on the stump microphone, “Koi bhi garden mein ghumega”.

The post caught the eye of star T20I batter Suyakumar Yadav, who commented ‘Gill and Jaiswal definitely’, in a jovial manner.

Former Indin all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also chimed in with a comment that read, ‘Shubman Gill for sure’ as the banter continued.

Rohit led from the front as he managed to being up two tons and a half-century in the five-match series as India bagged four straight wins at Vizag, Ranchi, Rajkot and Dharamshala to close out the series after having conceded the first Test at Hyderabad.

Jaislwa, was an absolute revelation as he notched up over 700 runs in the series including two magnificent double-hundreds. Gill, who is touted as the next big thing in Indian cricket also played a vital role in the rout of England as he was among the runs on the tour as well.

Jurel, who was brought in to keep wickets stood out with his incredible glovework and also made a good impression with the willow in his hand.

Khan, also gave a good account of himself with a couple of half-centuries and demonstrated what he is capable of.

India top the table in the ICC World Test Championship standings having won six, lost two and drawn one of their 9 games in the cycle so far.
