'Kohli Ko Bowling Do!': Famous Chant Returns as Mumbai Fans' Demand Draws Hilarious Reaction from Virat
With RCB bowlers being thrashes all around the park, the fans at the Wankhede Stadium began chanting 'Kohli ko bowling do!'

With Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowlers struggling to defend 197 against Mumbai Indians in Wankhede Stadium on Thursday night, the chants of ‘Kohli ko bowling do! (Make Kohli bowl!)’ started ringing in the stadium.

Towards the end of a strategic time-out as Virat Kohli was heading towards his fielding position, the crowd began the chant demanding to see the RCB batting star roll his arm over.

However, Kohli quickly shut down the chants with a hilarious reaction.

This isn’t the first time that the cricket fans have made such demand. During the 2023 ODI World Cup, the chants became nearly a regular feature whenever India played and Kohli did bowl in a couple of matches and to the crowd’s delight, even picked up a wicket too.

It was a forgettable day for the RCB bowling attack as MI batters made a mockery of the target of 197. Blistering half-centuries from Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav propelled the five-time IPL winners to an easy seven-wicket win as they overhauled the target in 15.3 overs.

RCB captain Faf du Plessis used as many as six bowlers and each of them conceded at least 10.7 runs per over. This was their fifth defeat in six matches and they are now at the 9th spot in the standings.

“I feel like from a batting perspective, we have to push for that 200. We don’t have as many weapons in our bowling. So it comes down to the batting,” Du Plessis told the broadcasters after the match.

“From a bowling perspective, we have lacked penetration. We have to get them two or three down in the powerplay. Always feels like we are on the back foot after the first four overs,” he added.

RCB will next face Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday hoping to end their losing streak which has now extended to four matches in a row.
