'Through City Of Gotham': Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja Enjoy a Sunny Day in New York

Team India cricketers Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja appear to be enjoying their time in New York. The duo recently took a stroll along the streets of the city on a sunny morning. Kuldeep and Jadeja are vital cogs of the Indian squad, set to feature in the T20 World Cup. The Men in Blue will play three of their four league games in New York before moving to Florida for the remaining fixture. The Rohit Sharma-led side will kick off their T20 World Cup campaign with a match against Ireland scheduled to be played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on June 5.

Before heading into the tournament, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja enjoyed a day out in New York. The duo clicked a picture together amid lush greeneries in a nearby locality. The photograph was shared by Kuldeep on Instagram. The Indian spinner captioned the post– “On a stroll through a city of Gotham.”

Both Indian cricketers picked casual outfits for the day out. While Kuldeep Yadav rocked a black, oversized t-shirt which he paired up with off-shite shorts and white sports shoes, Ravindra Jadeja opted for a white, graphic t-shirt and black shorts. The all-rounder rounded off the look with an uber-cool black cap and white sneakers.

Kuldeep Jadeja and Ravindra Jadeja both played India’s only warm-up match against Bangladesh ahead of the T20 World Cup. The Men in Blue showcased their strength across departments and notched a dominant win in the practice game. While India produced 182 runs in the first innings, Bangladesh managed 122, losing nine wickets in 20 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja bowled two overs each in that game but failed to pick any wicket as the Indian pacers dominated the proceedings in New York. Arshdeep Singh and Shivam Dube picked up two wickets each while Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel all earned one wicket each. Jadeja also had a small cameo with the bat but could not secure a boundary during his unbeaten six-ball stint.

Spinners are expected to play a crucial role in the second half of the T20 World Cup which will be hosted in the West Indies. India have included four spinners in their 15-member squad. India and the other teams will play only the group-league games in the USA. The Super Eight and the knockout stages of this T20 World Cup will be held in the West Indies.
