WATCH: Umpire Rohan Pandit Goes Down After SRH's Rahul Tripathi Smacks The Ball Directly Towards Him

Nobody is safe in the face of war. Well, umpire Rohan Pandit sure was not today as Kolkata Knight Riders were taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The whole incident was sparked when Suyyash Sharma came into the attack for KKR, to take on Rahul Tripathi.
Suyyash’s efforts were going to waste as both Tripathi went on the aggressive to smack it towards the long-on region for the maximum, and after some singles, Markram joined in and got the boundary as well to claim 14 runs off the over.
In the final delivery of the over, Tripathi looked to smack it straight towards the bowler but seems to have struck the umpire Rohan Pandit hard on the shin.

Pandit went down but got back up on his feet soon enough after receiving some medical attention.
Kolkata surely set the gauntlet for Hyderabad, with Andre Russell who went on a rampage, unleashing all hell and raining down sixes and fours on the Sunrisers as he smashed his way to an unbeaten 64 off just 25 deliveries.
Russell’s onslaught paired with opener Phillip Salt’s slashing 54-run innings helped KKR set a mammoth target of 209 runs.
But, Sunrisers sure did not plan on setting down soon, as the Men in Orange came out with vengeance launching an assault on the KKR bowlers themselves with openers Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma setting the tone with a swashbuckling start of their own, putting up 60 runs in 5 overs.
With SRH’s deep hard-hitting batting lineup, one cannot rule out the Sunrisers who will not go down silently as dawn arises.
