Candidates who have been allotted colleges in the first round of counselling are required to report to the respective colleges for document verification on August 28.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) released the revised round 1 seat allotment on August 25 for the Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) 2024. Bihar DCECE 2024:  Eligibility Criteria

According to the eligibility criteria, all candidates must be medically fit. For the PE and PMM courses, the candidates must have passed or appeared in the class 10 examination or anything equivalent. For the PM courses, they should have passed or appeared for their class 12 examination.

There are no minimum marks required in the qualifying examinations, but for PM courses, candidates must have scored a minimum of 40 per cent marks in their examination. According to the age limit criteria, for the PE courses, there is no age limit. For the PMM courses, the minimum age limit is 15 years whereas the maximum is 30 years. The minimum age for the candidate to apply for the PM course is 17 years and the maximum age is 32 years.

The Bihar Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) is an important gateway for students aspiring to pursue diploma courses in various technical and non-technical fields in Bihar. Most diploma courses under DCECE are three years long, typically divided into six semesters. Courses offered through the entrance exam are Polytechnic (Engg – PE), Para Medical (Matric Level – PMM), and Para Medical (Intermediate level – PM) courses

Bihar DCECE 2024: Mop-up Counselling Round

Candidates who could not fill choices for the 1st round of online counselling due to any reason are eligible for online Mop-Up Counselling. The official Hindi notification reads: “Candidates who appeared for the first or second round of DCECE (PE)-2024 through online counselling to enrol in Government/Private Sector Polytechnic Institutes and wish to participate in Mop-Up Counselling, or those who have not been allotted seats in the first and second round of counselling or had their seats cancelled for any reason, should go to their Reporting Center for Document Verification. However, all candidates who have not been able to do so are also eligible for Online Mop-Up Counselling.” the schedule for the mop-up counselling round will be soon available on the official website.
