Delhi Nursery Admission 2021: Merit List Tomorrow, Here is How to Enroll
Out of the total seats available in each of the schools, 75% will be offered to unreserved candidates

The Directorate of Education (DoE) will be releasing the Nursery admission merit list for Delhi-based schools tomorrow on March 20. The registration process for the was carried out between February 18 to March 4 for nearly 1700 schools across the UT. The DoE will declare the merit list on the basis of the application submitted by parents. Kids up to the age of four years will be enrolled in Nursery class while for KG and Class 1, the age limit is five and six years, respectively. The minimum age for nursery admissions is three years and for KG admissions is four years.

Here’s the list of documents that parents will need at the time of enrolment/admission of their in respective schools

1. Passport size colour photograph of a child

2. Passport size colour photograph of the parents/guardian

3. Family photograph

4. Address Proof

5. Child’s Birth certificate

6. Child’s Aadhaar Card

7. Parent / Guardian Adhaar Card

Out of the total seats available in each of the schools, 75% of them will be offered to unreserved candidates while 25 % of seats available for economically weaker section, disadvantaged groups (DG), and children with special needs (CWSN). The admission process for the same will be conducted later through a centralised draw of lots. The Delhi government’s Directorate of Education will release a separate merit list for reserved seats.

List of documents that will be required during the nursery admission for reserved quota

1. Resident proof

2. EWS certificate

3. Income certificate

4. Caste certificate

5. Birth certificate of the child

6. Special needs certificate of the child, if applicable

7. Photograph of child

8. Orphan certificate and guardian certificate, where required

9. Transgender certificate, if required

10. SMS or email for confirmation of email

11. Application form.

As the merit list releases, the parents will have to submit the abovementioned documents to complete the verification process conducted individually by the schools. The schools will also release a waiting list for the applicants who will be considered for the second round of admissions. The second merit list will be published on March 25. The Delhi nursery admissions will be closed by March 31.
