The application window for the July 2024 admission cycle for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online courses will end today, July 31, at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Candidates who meet the requirements can apply online at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, the official website for the ODL and online programmes.

The original application deadline for the IGNOU July ODL and online programmes was June 30, however, it was later extended to July 15 and then July 31. Those who want to enrol in any of IGNOU’s postgraduate and diploma programmes must complete the registration process by today.

IGNOU ODL July Admissions 2024: How To Apply?

Step 1: Go to the IGNOU’s official website, ignouadmissions.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘July Admissions 2024’ link on the webpage.

Step 3: You will be led to a new page with links to the Online and ODL programmes.

Step 4: Select the programme that best suits your requirements, complete the application, and submit in all necessary supporting documentation.

Step 5: Complete the process by depositing the application fee.

Step 6: Download and print the IGNOU ODL July2024 application form for future reference.

IGNOU ODL July Admissions 2024: Documents Required

–– When applying for the IGNOU ODL, candidates must provide scanned copies of the following documents:

–– Candidates photograph (less than 100KB)

–– Copy of signature (less than 100KB)

–– Copy of educational documents such as mark sheets (less than 200 KB).

–– Copy of any applicable experience certification (less than 200 KB)

–– Copy of the category certificate, if SC, ST, OBC (less than 200 KB).

IGNOU ODL July Admissions 2024: Application Fee

All candidates registering for any UG, PG, or Diploma course at IGNOU must pay a registration fee of Rs 300. An applicant is entitled to a complete refund of the programme fee if they cancel their application prior to acceptance confirmation, under the university’s refund policy. If a request for cancellation is received after admission confirmation, a sum equal to 15% of the programme price, up to a maximum of Rs.2,000, would be withheld from the money paid, according to the official notification of IGNOU.
