Maharashtra HSC Exams 2024: Qualifying Marks
Students must score at least 33 per cent or above to pass the 12th board exams, as per the rules. Minimum of 33 per cent marks in both practical and theory exams is mandatory. In case, the student fails to secure 33 per cent, he/she has to appear for the Maharashtra HSC Supplementary exams in order to pass the Maharashtra HSC Exams 2024.

Maharashtra HSC Result 2024: Number of Candidates Registered
From the Mumbai division alone, a total of 351,655 candidates had registered for the HSC including 183,818 boys and 167,788 girls from 668 exam centres, the report elaborated, reported Indian Express. As per the data shared by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, more than 15 lakh candidates have registered for the HSC examination which included 821,450 boys and 692,424 girls. With 760,046 students, the science stream has the highest number of candidates registered for the HSC exam. This is followed by 381,982 students in the Arts stream and 329,905 candidates in the Commerce stream.
