The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) of Tamil Nadu will issue the admit cards for the private candidates today. The admit cards will be available for both Higher Secondary first year and second year. Candidates can download their admit cards via the official DGE TN website at dge.tn.gov.in.
The Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exam is slated to begin in March. The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) board exams for private candidates are scheduled to take place in March-April, while the supplementary examinations will take place in June-July.
According to the official notice, the candidates appearing for both the Higher Secondary First Year (+1 Arrear) and Second Year (+2) Public Examinations will be issued one admit card only. This admit card will be valid for both exams.
“Individual candidates (including Tatkal) who have applied for the March – 2024 Higher Secondary 1st Year and 2nd Year Public Examination can download their Admit Cards from 19.02.2024 afternoon through the websitewww.dge.tn.gov.in,” the notice read.
How To Download Tamil Nadu Class 12 Board Exam 2024 Hall Ticket?
To obtain your hall ticket for the Tamil Nadu Board exams, follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of DGE TN at dge.tn.gov.in.
Step 2: An option ‘Hall Ticket’ will appear on the homepage. Click on it.
Step 3: Look for the link titled “HIGHER SECONDARY FIRST YEAR / SECOND YEAR- MARCH-2024 PRIVATE CANDIDATE HALL TICKET DOWNLOAD” on the following page.
Step 4: Find the download link.
Step 5: Provide all the necessary details like your application number and date of birth.
Step 6: Verify and download the displayed admit card.
Under the revised system announced by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, internal marks will not be allocated to direct private students. The marks secured by them out of 90 will be converted to 100 points. To pass, students must attain at least 35 marks in each subject.
The question papers will be provided only in Tamil and English, the board announced. However, for ten subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, History, Commerce, Economics, and Accountancy, the question papers will also be provided in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Urdu mediums.
