UPSC ESE Prelims 2024: Candidates who took the preliminary exam can access their results on the official website at upsc.gov.in

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results for the Engineering Services Preliminary Examination (ESE 2024) on March 28. Candidates who took the preliminary exam can access their results on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. They can view the list of qualified candidates for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2024, sorted by name and roll number.

The commission conducted the Engineering Services Examination on February 18, 2024, across the country. In addition to that, the commission has scheduled the UPSC ESE Mains 2024 Exam for June 23, 2024.

The official notification by UPSC read, “The candidature of these candidates is purely provisional at all stages of the examination, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. The candidates declared qualified are required to appear for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2024, to be held on June 23, 2024.”

“The qualified candidates are further advised to refer to the Rules of the Engineering Services Examination, 2024, issued by the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunication, and the Examination Notice No. 01/2024 ENGG. dated September 6, 2023, issued by the Commission, which is available on its website,” it added.

Candidates can download their e-Admit Cards for the Mains examination from the Commission’s website a week prior to the exam date. The commission further informs that marks and cut-off marks of the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024, will be uploaded on the Commission’s website, i.e., upsc.gov.in, after the entire process of the Engineering Services Examination, 2024, is over.

The Commission has further stated that no requests for a change of the exam centre for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2024, will be entertained under any circumstances.

The Union Public Service Commission has a facilitation counter at its campus. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/result on a helpline that will remain operational on weekdays from 10 AM to 5 PM for in-person assistance or over the telephone at (011) 23388088, (2338527), (23381125), or (23098543). It is important to note for candidates that mobile phones are barred inside the UPSC office premises.

The UPSC ESE 2024 is conducting the Engineering Services Examination with the aim of filling approximately 167 positions, including five reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), across four categories, namely electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and electronics and telecommunication engineering.
