Rome: Roma have completed the signing of former Italy goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis from Napoli.
De Sanctis has penned a two-year deal at Roma, with the capital club paying a transfer fee of 500,000 euros ($662,000).
De Sanctis spent four seasons at Napoli, helping them to the Italian Cup in 2012 as well as the Champions League quarter-finals, where they lost to eventual winner Chelsea.
He also won the Italian league in 1998, during a two-year spell as reserve goalkeeper for Juventus.
De Sanctis made six appearances for Italy before retiring from international football on his 36th birthday in March.
