New Delhi: Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is considering bringing in reinforcements when the transfer market reopens in January.
The Arsenal boss is notorious for his conservative spending policy but it seems that he is more and more convinced that they can do big things this season if they strengthen in key departments.
“We will not rule anything out,” Wenger told he club's official website. “We want to win at the end of the season and if we feel that signings are needed in January to accomplish this we will do so.
“What is more important until then is to deliver as much as we can. If, in January, it is needed then we will do something.
“But what makes me unhappy is that we got beaten by Hull. If we had won then we would only be one point behind the leaders and in a very strong position.”
Despite a couple of hiccups, Arsenal are in fourth place going into the ninth game of the season, just four points behind league-leading Chelsea.
