Kim Kardashian To Play Divorce Lawyer In Hulu’s New Legal Drama? What We Know
Kim Kardashian will reportedly slip into the shoes of a famous and successful divorce lawyer Laura Wasser who also happens to be the owner of an all-female law firm.

Kim Kardashian is ready to take over the OTT platform in a new legal drama series. The beauty mogul has earlier displayed her acting prowess in films and web shows like American Horror Story: Delicate (AHS) and The Kardashians. But this time, she will be playing a never-before-seen character of a divorce lawyer, Deadline reported. Written by Jon Robin Baitz, and executively produced by AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy, the legal drama will start streaming on Hulu — the platform for Kim’s most-acclaimed series The Kardashians. As per reports, Kim’s upcoming project will go on the floors in late 2024 and will premiere on Hulu in 2025.

Kim Kardashian will reportedly slip into the shoes of a famous and successful divorce lawyer Laura Wasser who also happens to be the owner of an all-female law firm, the report added. Laura has represented some A-listed Hollywood celebrities in their divorce proceedings including Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, Britney Spears, and Kevin Costner.

When Jon Robin Baitz and Ryan Murphy approached Kim Kardashian and her mother-momager Kris Jenner with the script of the yet-to-be-title law drama, the mother and daughter agreed to be a part of the web show right away. Kim and Kris will also be jointly producing the much-anticipated series. Soon after their confirmation, Ryan, Kim, and Kris sold the project to Hulu. Witnessing the success of The Kardashians and AHS: Delicate, the OTT platform agreed to pursue the legal drama.

With Kim Kardashian agreeing to portray a female lawyer, the makers have begun to focus their attention on selecting other cast members. Reportedly, there will be three other actresses who will play Kim’s “glamorous and accomplished law partners” in the series. Word has it that a popular male actor might also be roped in as Kim’s on-screen love interest. Neither the date of filming nor the release date has been decided yet.

The comedy-drama written collaboratively by Paula Pell and Janine Brito is still in its initial stages. Reports suggested that Kim will play the “fifth wheel” among a group of other actresses in the web series, taking on the lead role. The plot and cast details are currently under tight wraps.
