Rod of the Exalted One Overview & Stats
Stats The Rod of the Exalted One is considered a mid- to end-game rod with good stats. While this rod isn't one of the best in the game, it's a great rod to get if you're willing to put in the work that will hold you over until you can get something better, like the Seraphic Rod or the Rod of the Depths. Lure Speed: 55% Luck: 170% Control: 0.15 Resilience: 20% Max weight: 70,000kg Cost: Up to 1,000,000C$ Purchasing relics from Merlin and getting relics appraised will cost money, but will allow you to get the Rod of the Exalted One much faster.
Passives The Rod of the Exalted One has one passive: Exalted Relics: When using the Rod of the Exalted One, your chance of catching Exalted Relics goes up by 2.5 times (from 0.05% to 0.125%).
How to Get the Rod of the Exalted One
Collect 7 Enchanted Relics. In order to get the Rod of the Exalted One, you must have the following mutated Enchant Relics: Hexed, Crystalized, Greedy, Translucent, Atlantean, Fossilized, and Mosaic. Enchant Relics can be obtained by fishing or opening treasure chests. The best place to fish for Enchant Relics is in The Depths (which raises your chances from 1/350 to 1/100). When opening treasure chests, there's a 10% chance to get an unmutated Enchant Relic. Unmutated Enchant Relics can also be purchased from Merlin for 11,000C$ each. If you get an unmutated Enchant Relic, you can get it appraised to apply a mutation. Hexed Enchant Relic: You can use the No-Life Rod to get a 50% chance to fish up this mutated relic. You can also get this mutation via appraisal. Crystalized Enchant Relic: You must use the Crystalized Rod to get this mutated relic (20% chance). Greedy Enchant Relic: You can use the Rod of the Eternal King (60% chance) or the Scurvy Rod (13% chance) to fish up this mutated relic. You can also get this mutation via appraisal. Translucent Enchant Relic: You must use a rod with the Ghastly enchantment to get this mutated relic. You can also get this mutation via appraisal. Atlantean Enchant Relic: You must use the Trident Rod to get this mutated relic (30% chance). Fossilized Enchant Relic: You can fish this mutated relic up with the Voyager Rod (35% chance) or you can get it via appraisal. Mosaic Enchant Relic: There are no rods that give you an increased chance to get the Mosaic mutation, but you can get this mutated relic via appraisal as well.
Go to Mushgrove Swamp. Once you collect all of the mutated Enchant Relics, head to Mushgrove. There's a hidden location in the swamp that holds the Rod of the Exalted One.
Locate the fake wall. In one of the rock walls on the island, there is a fake wall that is a darker color than the rest of the rocks around it. It's near Alligator Marsh, and the area surrounding the fake door has large brown and red mushrooms.
Carefully walk through the fake wall. If you run through the fake wall, you can fall down the elevator shaft and die.
Take the elevator down. This will bring you to the Keeper's Secret, where you can place the mutated relics you collected.
Place the mutated Enchant Relics on the pedestals. Each pedestal is a different color. These colors correlate to the text color of the mutation. Here's which pedestal each relic goes on: Red: Hexed Orange: Crystalized Yellow: Greedy Green: Translucent Blue: Atlantean Purple: Fossilized Pink: Mosaic
Take the Rod of the Exalted One. Once you place all of the relics on their respective podiums, the Rod of the Exalted One will appear. You will also get three Exalted Relics for placing the mutated relics on their podiums. You can repeatedly place all 7 mutated relics on the podiums to get more Exalted Relics. You will only get one Rod of the Exalted One, however.
Best Enchantments
Quantum: 25% chance for fish to have the Subspace mutation (5x sell value) Quantum is the best mutation passive enchantment for the Rod of the Exalted One. This will increase how much C$ you're able to make from the fish you catch. Quantum requires Exalted Relics. If you don't have them, you can apply Abyssal to the rod instead. Abyssal: 10% chance for fish to have the Abyssal mutation (3.5x sell value), and fish will be larger (80% chance to increase weight by 1.3x, 20% chance to increase weight by 0.6x) Hasty: +55% lure speed If you want to increase your lure speed, Hasty is the best enchantment. However, if you can't get Hasty, you can apply Swift instead: Swift: +30% lure speed, +5% progress speedhttps://fisch.fandom.com/wiki/Enchantments#Swift Clever: 2.25x XP earned While Clever is the better enchantment to increase XP earned, you can use Insight instead. Insight: 1.5x XP earned, +20% lure speed, 30% chance to catch Purified fish (2x sell value) Mystical: +25% luck, +45% resilience, +15% lure speed, +10% progress speed While Mystical is the best overall stat improvement enchantment, it requires Exalted Relics. If you can't get Mystical, you can instead apply Quality: Quality: +15% lure speed, +15% luck, +5% resilience, +5% progress speed Controlled: Increase the control bar's size by 0.15 You can replace Controlled with Resilient, if you prefer: Resilient: +35% resilience
