How to Get V-Bucks for Free in Fortnite: Battle Pass & More
If you're an avid Fortnite player but you don't want to (or can't) spend money on the game, you might be wondering how you can get V-Bucks for free. Unfortunately, there's only a few methods that give you free V-Bucks, but thankfully they're all pretty straightforward. Keep reading to learn more.
Ways to Get V-Bucks for Free

Battle Pass Rewards

Complete the free Battle Pass to get 300 V-Bucks. Every season, Fortnite introduces a new Battle Pass. You can buy the premium Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks to get all of the rewards, but there's also a free version of it that gives you less rewards—however, 300 free V-Bucks are included in those rewards. If you manage to save up enough free V-Bucks, you can buy the premium Battle Pass, which includes 1,500 V-Bucks.

Gifts from Friends & Family

Ask for V-Bucks for gifts from your friends and family. If you want to get V-Bucks but you don't have money of your own to spend, you can always ask your friends and family to get you V-Bucks as a gift for your birthday, Christmas, or other gift-giving occasions. V-Bucks cards can be bought at a number of retailers, such as Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Amazon, and more. You can get 1,000 V-Bucks for $8.99, 2,800 V-Bucks for $22.99, 5,000 V-Bucks for $36.99, or 13,500 V-Bucks for $89.99.

Save the World (Founder's Pack)

Complete missions in Save the World if you have the Founder's Pack. If you managed to get the Founder's Pack before it was discontinued in June 2020, you can complete various missions in Save the World to get V-Bucks as a reward. Unfortunately, if you didn't get the Founder's Pack, it's since been discontinued.

Avoiding Scams

Avoid sites that advertise free V-Bucks generators. When you look for free V-Bucks online, you'll encounter many sites that claim they can generate free V-Bucks for you. These sites are scams, and they'll waste your time at best or potentially steal your information at worst. It's best to avoid them all together, because if it's too good to be true, it probably is.
