The summer holidays are extended for a month due to soaring heat in Telangana, prompting children to eagerly request their parents for a long vacation. Most of the families visit destinations like Srisailam and Tirupati. However, Hyderabad remains a popular choice for many due to its numerous attractive sites. Visiting Hyderabad can be costly if you wish to explore thoroughly, as a single day often isn’t sufficient. You need to stay overnight if you want to visit places.
For the people who need an affordable travel plan, Telangana Tourism has introduced special one-day packages to explore Hyderabad. This plan covers significant landmarks including the Salarjung Museum, Purani Haveli, Golconda Fort, Qutub Shahi Tomb, Lumbini Park, Birla Mandir, Chaumahalla Palace, Charminar and Makkah Masjid.
Buses depart at 7:30 AM from the Information and Reservation Office, near Yatri Niwas, Secunderabad. Alternatively, you can board at 7:45 AM from Tourism Plaza, Begumpet, or at 8:15 AM from the CRO office, Bashirbagh. The packages are available in both AC and non-AC options. In the Non-AC bus, children are charged Rs 300, and Rs 380 for adults, while the AC bus costs Rs 400 for children and Rs 500 for adults.
It is important to note that entrance fees and meals at the tourist sites are not included in the package. For more details and any updates, please visit the official website of Telangana Tourism.
