When comparing a set of laptops, the comparison is based on certain factors; it could be a price segment, form factor or a category like multimedia and so on. But when there's a number of machines belonging to different segments and prices, comparing them is rather unfair.
In this article, we won't be comparing the laptops. Instead, on the basis of price, specifications and features, we'll be evaluating 15 laptops and recommending a few that are truly worth the buck.
Now, some of these machines are benchmarked and tested, and some are not, so if a machine is not recommended, it isn't because it does not perform well, it's mainly because you're getting the same or better hardware and/or features in a better price.
