2-week internship for Medical Students in London

BANGALORE: Five students of Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital, who are currently pursuing their internship, have been given an opportunity to gain international experience in the medical field through a twoweek internship programme at the Hammersmith Hospital in London.This opportunity came through, when Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital, became an institutional member of International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA). “When our college became a member, we heard of the exchange programmes available and we applied for this programme,” Dr Srinidhi Nathany Sneha, a medical intern, who will be visiting London, said.The students have been selected for the general surgery internship. When asked if two weeks were enough for the students, Srinidhi said, “Two weeks is more than enough. I am keen on observing work culture at hospitals in London. I am also looking forward to seeing advanced operative and surgical technology.” The expenses for the two weeks would be borne by the college and the academy.
