New Delhi: Three senior ADAG employees will be questioned in Bharat Borge death case Railways sources have confirmed to CNN-IBN.
Among them is a top official in the security wing, former DGP Kamal Kashyapand and his deputy who is a former ACP. The head of ADAG aviation will also be subjected to questioning.
In addition to this, two officials with Airworks Engineering, the company looking after the maintenance of Anil Ambani's chopper, will be taken in for questioning.
Sources say all five were at the airport on the evening of 27 April.
Borge - who discovered the sabotage attempt on Anil Ambani's helicopter - allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a of Churchgate-bound fast train. The motorman of the train, Pillay, has told the police that he saw Borge crossing the tracks.
According to him, Borge took a step back and bent when he saw the train approaching, but it was too late.
The statement of witnesses and the post-morterm report of Borge's body have led investigators to believe that this is a case of accidental death.
But it's the letter written by Borge and its cryptic contents that are intriguing the investigators. Borge's letter clearly indicates that he was under pressure. His colleagues at Air Works blame the police, alleging they were forcing him to admit he knew who carried out the sabotage to Ambani's helicopter.
"The police were pressuring him and he was very tense," says Borge's brother Uday.
As the alleged suicide is being investigated, the officials looking into the sabotage case are already feeling the pinch. Borge was a key witness in the case helping the cops to zero in on the accused who had placed the pebbles in a sabotage attempt.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government has rubbished suggestions that either Ambani or Borge could be targets of corporate intrigue as ADAG officials have suggested.
