Mysore: Three more people have been arrested in connection with the Mysore terror trail. They allegedly assisted the main accused in fabricating documents.
The arrests were made in Mysore itself.
The Karnataka police said they had foiled a terrorist attack on the night of October 26.
Two suspected Pakistani terrorists were arrested by the police after a shootout on the ring road in Vijaynagar just outside the city on Friday.
The statement of a female cousin of the accused Mohammad Fahad has been recorded by the police, along with those of her husband Nazir and two agents Rehamathulla and Mohammad Afzal.
Karnataka DGP B S Sial said that the Srinagar police had classified the other accused, Mohammad Ali Hussain as a category A terrorist.
He is wanted in 12 cases of murder and terrorist action in Srinagar.
"The Mysore police has arrested three people today. Sadiq, alias Sherif, alis Chacha, age 60 yrs. He helped Ali Hussain get a false ration card in the name of Asif Khan. They also arrested Nanjappa, aged 36 yr, s/o Kumara and Gopal, s/o Iyya, aged 28," B S Sial said on Sunday.
