He was found dead during the early hours of Friday.Dakshnamoorthy, a resident of Kuppanthan Mottur Village near Katpadi, was staying with his wife Rekha (29), also a constable in AR, and their four-year-old son Bhuvaneshwar in a house in the ground floor in the E block of the police quarters. Dakshnamoorthy and Rekha, who joined the force in 2005, fell in love while they were working together in Palani and got married about five years ago. The two were transferred to Vellore in 2009, said the police.For the past 10 days, they reportedly constantly fought with each other over some family matter. “After Dakshnamoorthy returned home from duty on Thursday night around 11.30, he and Rekha again had a fight. After the fight, Rekha and their son went to sleep in the hall while Dakshnamoorthy went to sleep in the bedroom,” added the police.Rekha, woke up around 7 am on Friday and finding the bedroom door locked from inside knocked but got no response.
