Varanasi: A day after the terror attack in the oldest city of the world, there is an uneasy calm in Varanasi.
The city seems to have come to terms with Tuesday's dastardly attack and is slowly limping back to normalcy.
Accoridng to CNN-IBN correspondent Nilanjana Bose, stationed in Varanasi, though the raliway cantonment area was quiet, it was business as usual at the Sankatmochan temple complex - the site of attacks.
The temple was buzzing with activity and was crowded with devotees who said that their faith cannot be shaken by the terror attacks.
Security has been beefed-up across the state and there have been no instances of communal clashes.
"We are glad to inform that inspite of the dark incident of Tuesday, Varanasi is peaceful and there is communal harmony. We have deployed 17 companies of CRPF in state, five of them in Varanasi," Sinha, said.
