Aamir Khan beats Bachchan on Twitter

Aamir Khan's Twitter page read 'Testing' on June 30. In a span of 12 hours of testing, the actor garnered more than 40,000 followers. And after putting his first tweet on July 1, the actor has crossed more than 50,000 followers.

Amitabh Bachchan, who convinced Aamir Khan to join the social networking site, welcomed Aamir on the site.

Bachchan had got 37,500 followers on his first day, way behind Aamir. Interestingly, Bachchan is the only person Aamir is following right now.

Aamir Khan's first tweet thanked Sr Bachchan and read as follows:

Bhala gardish falak ki chain deti hai kise Insha, ganimat hai ke hum surat yahan do-chaar baithey hain. Esp for you sir. Love.

Amitabh replied:
