Agra: Goons allegedly gangrape, murder Dalit woman, cut her body into pieces

Agra: A group of gangsters allegedly gangraped and murdered a Dalit woman in Agra. They allegedly cut tore her body into several pieces and burnt it.

The suspects were allegedly associated with the family of a village headman in Malpura. The incident took place just 200 metres away from a police post.

A police team investigating the case found parts of the woman's body, partially burnt. A number of condoms were also recovered from the spot.

"We are still investigating the case. Action will taken against the guilty, no one will be spared," said a police official.

The village headman and others tried to prevent the woman's husband from approaching the police and further burned the mutilated body.

Ten people including the village chief has been named in the FIR.
