AIADMK flays Rangasamy

PUDUCHERRY: AIADMK State Secretary A Anbazhagan, on Friday, flayed Chief Minister N Rangasamy for having declared Puducherry “cyclone-hit” instead of getting it declared by the Centre.Speaking at a  press conference, he said that as result of this move, Rangasamy had failed to get adequate funds for cyclone relief from the Centre. He alleged that the government had provided  relief only to a section of the people. As the funds released were inadequate, execution of  works, including relief, were pending.Some of the concessions for calamity-affected areas, including waiver of loans, were yet to be announced on account of deficiency of funds.
