AIADMK governing council recast

CHENNAI: AIADMK general secretary and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa revamped her party’s governing council on Friday.The CM said she would be chairperson of the council. E Madusudanan (presidium chairman), O Panneerselvam (treasurer), Visalatchi Nedunchezhian (organisational secretary), C Karuppasamy (organisational secretary), SPM Syed Khan (former Rajya Sabha MP), and Justin Selvaraj (minorities welfare wing president) would be the members. Since D Jayakumar assumed office of the legislative assembly Speaker, he has been relieved of his membership of the council. Madusudanan and Justin Selvaraj have been newly appointed to the council.
