Anantpur: Police in Kadiri town of the district have registered a case against a man, a local leader of MIM, for raping a minor girl. The case was registered against CMD Eliaz (43) on a complaint filed by a minor Muslim girl under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, on Monday night.
According to the girl, a std 10th student, Eliaz had once rescued her from eve-teaser. Later he befriended her and raped her, she told the police.
