The countdown for the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony has already begun. Now, with only a few days left for the grand inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the preparations have reached the final stages. As per the reports, the renowned confectioners will be preparing 45 tonnes of laddus for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Around 1200 kg of laddus prepared using pure desi ghee will be offered as prasad to Lord Ram on the day of the ceremony.

One of the confectioners, on Thursday, informed a media outlet, “The laddus are being made using pure desi ghee and will be offered as a prasad to Ram Lala on the 22nd of this month. We have been making laddus since January 6 and will continue doing so until January 22. In a day, we make around 1200 kgs of laddus. We have to make 45 tonnes of laddus for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.”

It is pertinent to note that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with many renowned personalities including celebrities, politicians, and saints, will be present at the event. Devotees arriving in Ayodhya will be presented with a commemorative token. Shivom Mishra, a disciple of the founder of the Sanatan Seva Nyas, noted in an interview that the token will be presented as a gift to the guests including Prasad. The gift for the guests would consist of two boxes one of which will be filled with besan laddu made from ghee and a sacred tulsi leaf. The ghee used for preparing laddus will be obtained from cow’s milk. The second box will have the soil that emerged from the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and water from the Sarayu River, as a memento.
