BANGALORE: Here is good news for those who love  to watch 2D and 3D animation movies. Morphosys Information Services is out with a children’s movie titled 5ters — Castle of Dark Master that will hit the silver screen on May 8. The speciality this multi-lingual (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam) movie is that the cast and crew are from Bangalore. Well-known character artiste Avinash has played a key role in this movie. Theja, Hithaishini, Samart, Akash and Gagan are the child artistes playing different roles in the movie. All child artistes were trained at Abhinaya Taranga in Bangalore.Avinash appreciated the dedication and commitment of the director G Venugopal and writer and associate director Vijayalakshmi NS. ‘‘When Venugopal asked me to act in this movie I hesitated a little because  of the poor quality of children’s movies. I have never come across such people. The commitment and dedication of the crew and cast made me to put up my best efforts while facing the camera. Sandalwood needs this such people who are known for quality in their work and dedication towards their assignments,’’ says Avinash.5ters - Castle of Dark Master is about an expedition across the real and the imaginary world undertaken by five kids who are led by destiny to fulfil their responsibility to nature in the form of an adventure that is filled with mystery, fantasy and intrigue. The five children, get lost in the forest, while on a school trip and they come across various thrilling adventures, the solving of which leads them onto a deep insight into their role and responsibility as the future of the world.‘‘We wanted to make a film with computer graphics and animation on a scale never seen in the country so far. And I can proudly say that with 5ters - Castle of Dark Master, we have successfully managed to do that. This is an initiative towards making technologically superior movies, which I feel, India is fully capable of. I hope that with 5ters... setting the trend, more such movies will be made,’’ said director Venugopal. While senior director K S L Swamy and Manjunath provided dialogues, Aslam Noor penned lyrics. Manikanth Kadri is the music director.‘‘This movie conveys a message to the audience on the importance of saving the nature. In this global warming scenario, kids coming forward to save the nature is the need of the hour. Young and brilliant team from Bangalore has made this adventurous film using the latest technology. The concept of this movie made me to be its producer,’’ said Rajesh Kumar, Chariman and Managing Director of Mophosys Information Services.
