New Delhi: Former Pakistan premier Benazir Bhutto on Tuesday asked General Musharraf to quit, saying she will not work under him in any future government and that their talks are off.
On Tuesday morning, Benazir was barred from holding a rally from Lahore to Islamabad. She is now under house arrest for a second time for seven days.
Speaking to CNN over the phone, she also indicated that the Pakistani Army could fly her to Karachi.
“We are not talking to General Musharraf or his people directly or indirectly because he is not ready to listen. My plans have been taken out of my hands by force. I'm under arrest for seven days. I'm told by Sky TV that the regime is getting CI-30 aircraft to take me permanently to my home in Karachi but I have not been given any indication. I am totally in the dark,” she said.
