A three-day national conference of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh to discuss issues related to labour and industry will begin in Jaipur on February 21.

"Special talks, industry and sector wise meetings and special session for advocates working among labourers will be part of the conference," BMS national general secretary BN Rai said on Wednesday.

Resolutions on social security, economic situation, 7th pay commission and issues related to unorganised sectors will be moved in the conference which is scheduled to be inaugurated by RSS leader Suresh Joshi, he informed.

Delegates from all parts of the country including Andamans, Manipur, Nagaland, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala will attend the conference in which a women's convention will also be held on February 23, Rai said.

Trade union leaders from different unions, irrespective of their ideological differences are coming on a single platform during the inaugural session of the conference, he said.

The BMS also expressed disappointment over the interim Union budget saying that no provision was made in the budget for labourers and poor people.

There is no provision to stop price rice of routinely used items, petrol and diesel," he rued, while expecting something fruitful from the state government budget for labourers and common people.
