Residents of Rajasthan’s Bhilwara are advised to prepare for a scheduled power outage in several areas of the city for 5 hours from 7 am on Friday, July 5. Assistant Engineer of the Bhilwara Electricity Department, RK Chandaulia, said that maintenance work was scheduled in urban areas, necessitating a temporary disruption in electricity supply.
Areas to be Affected By Power Cut
The affected areas include the Gol Pyaau feeder-main sector, Shastri Nagar Sectors A to E, Old Housing Board, Mohammadi Colony, Solanki Talkies Road, Neelkanth Colony, Nagar Parishad, Rajendra Marg Railway Gate, Murali Vilas Road, LNT Road, and the evening vegetable market. Additionally, the outage will impact Bhilwara Club, Congress Office, Totla Bhawan, Nathdwara Sarai, Seerat Sarai, Railway Station, Indra Market, Banjara Hotel, Gokul Plaza, Beawar Wala Halwai, Machinery Market, Bazaar Number Two, Apsara Complex, and Kamal Ka Kuan areas, including the vicinity around the Police Control Room.
Electricity supply will be suspended for five hours to facilitate maintenance work on wires, poles, transformers, and other infrastructure. Residents are advised to complete their essential tasks before the scheduled outage to minimise inconvenience.
Power outages during the rainy season have been a recurring issue in Bhilwara, affecting daily routines and productivity. Early information about such disruptions helps residents plan and manage their responsibilities effectively.
