ALAPPUZHA: The body of Maria Rosilin, who was found hanging at the Our Lady Convent at Aroor on Monday, was taken to her native place in Bangalore after the postmortem examination on Tuesday. Police surgeon in the Alappuzha Medical College Hospital conducted the postmortem examination.The girl, a plus one student at the St Antony’s Studies Centre, was undergoing training at the convent to become a nun. The police said there was no foul play in the death.Maria Rosilin is the daughter of Patric, Maria Villa, Kanaknagar, Bangalore. The police said that the body of Rosilin was found hanging, at 4.30 am on Monday, by roommate on the roof of the convent. She informed the mother superior and later, they brought down the body to the floor, said K C Sasidharan Nair, SI, Aroor.The police said that Maria Rosilin was distressed after hearing the news that her father met with an accident on Friday.
