COIMBATORE: The owner of an internet browsing centre was arrested allegedly for downloading pornographic films, copying them in CDs and selling it to customers here on Thursday.Police said, R Sivaraman (20), of Gandhi Nagar, Edayarpalayam, went to GK Communication, Dot Net Browsing Centre at Saibaba Colony on Thursday. Satff of the centre told him, pornographic films were available in a particular computer. They also sold an CD containing obscene film to him. Sivaraman lodged a plaint with the police against the internet browsing centre. Police, during a raid, found out that customers were allowed to watch pornographic films in the centre. They have also found that the centre was downloading pornographic films, copying them in CDs, pen drives and mobile phone memory cards of customers.Saibaba Colony police arrested the owner K Balraj alias Balaji (27) and two staff, R N Vikram (22) and B Vignesh (30), all three from Edayarpalayam.
