CBI raid at Paramount Airways?

MADURAI: Officials from various agencies, including the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and National Intelligence Agency (NIA), visited the Paramount Airways premises here, triggering rumours of a raid on Tuesday.After visiting the office of the Airways at Madurai Airport, they proceeded to a residence in Thirunagar. When contacted, officials refused to clarify the purpose behind the visits.However, according to rumours, Paramount Airways was under the scanner for various alleged malpractices. For his part, a company spokesperson claimed that the Airways intends to resume normal operations for which it had sought clearances. He linked the visits of the CBI and NIA officials to the due procedure that is followed by the government before according sanction.
