HYDERABAD: Two city students have emerged the finalists in the Hyderabad finals of Horlicks Wizkids by Krayon, the largest inter-school fiesta running across India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Prateek Shankar of Hyderabad Public School and Varsha Gandikota of Chinmaya School will now represent their city at the Horlicks Wizkids South Asia Finals in November this year. The South Asia winners will win scholarships worth `4 lakh and a trip to the UN in Geneva. The event drew an overwhelming response from the students in the city with more than 4,500 students from 72 schools crowding at the Sathya Sai Nigam Auditorium to display their unique talents."Horlicks Wizkids is very popular among students across India and countries like Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka as well. From the time we began upto this day, we have witnessed exceptional response from students every year," said Puneet Das, general manager of Horlicks, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Limited. Horlicks Wizkids is South Asia's largest interschool fiesta with over 30 literary, art, talent and cultural events for students from class 1 to 12. This year many new competitions were added such as - musical theatre, 30 seconds to fame, calligraphy art, graffiti wall etc.
