PUDUCHERRY: The state unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) demanded a judicial probe into the issue involving education minister PML Kalyanasundaram, who had allegedly engaged a proxy to write his SSLC supplementary exam in a private school in Tindivanam.CPM Tamil Nadu state council member T Murugan and state secretary V Perumal told reporters, on Friday that a only a thorough probe would bring out the truth on the issue.Pointing that already six criminal cases were pending against Kalyanasundaram, they said it was not fair on the part of the Rangasamy to remain silent.The silence of the Chief Minister has caused apprehensions among the public and the action of the education minister has cast a bad name on the teacher and student community. They also demanded the suspension of former Collector G Ragesh Chandra, on whom the CBI had registered a case for irregularities in tsunami rehablitation funds.
