BANGALORE: Encouraged by the Chikmagalur by-election victory, the Congress will kick-start its ‘Join Congress and Bring Change’ campaign today. The movement aims to expose the inefficient administration of the state BJP government.Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president G Parameshwar said all senior party leaders would participate in the five-month-long programme across 224 Assembly segments. The people of the state need a change. We want to tell them  Congress is ready to bring that change,” Parameshwar saidHe added the campaign would take off fully  in the first week of May as various teams  would tour the drought prone areas across the state and send a report to the party high command Sonia Gandhi, who wull visit on April 28.On former chief minister’s B S Yeddyurappa’s cutting short his tour to the drought prone areas to attend a meeting with the party general secretary Dharamendra Pradhan, the Congress leader said Yeddyurappa had taken enough mileage by politicising drought. He denied  Congress Legislative party leader Siddaramaiah was not happy with the party.  “We both called on the Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee recently and there is no question of any differences,” he said.
