Court quashes plea against Kunhalikutty

THRISSUR: The Vigilance Court on Wednesday quashed the petition filed against Industry Minister Kunhalikutty and his wife Ummukulsu.The petition was filed by Abdul Aziz, a native of Kozhikode. It was alleged in the petition that Kunhalikutty and his wife had amassed wealth disproportionate to the their known sources of income. Enquiry Commissioner and Special Vigilance Court judge V Jayaram  dismissed the petition saying that the prosecution failed to prove the allegation.
