CPI District Meet from 27th

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI Thiruvananthapuram district conference would be held at Attingal from December 27 to 30. Thiruvananthapuram district secretary P Ramchandran Nair told a news conference here the other day that 360 delegates from 14  constituencies would attend the conference. He said that the party had 12,000 members and over 2,20,000 members altogether in frontal organisations.  He said that ahead of the conference, party flags were hoisted in over 1,000 centres in the district. As part of the campaign, seminars were held at Neyyattinkara, Nedumangad and  Thiruvananthapuram taluk centres. The cultural meeting would be inaugurated by Puthusseri Ramachandran on December 27. Perumpuzha Gopalakrishnan would preside over the meeting. George Onakkoor and P K Gopi would speak.
