CPI for old pattern of admissions

PUDUCHERRY: Senior CPI leader Na Ra Kalanathan has appealed to the Centralised Admissions Committee (CENTAC) to follow the old pattern, based on marks, for admissions in professional colleges. He told reporters that the regional reservation policy should not be followed as it would affect students from the Puducherry region.He requested the government to hold discussions and get 50 per cent seats in the private medical and engineering colleges.
