DVS to try a patch-up

BANGALORE: Treading cautiously on a path full of political mines laid by the emerging differences between his predecessor B S Yeddyurappa and state BJP president K S Eshwarappa, Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda on Friday said he would convene a meeting of the core committee to thrash out the issues.“I will not join issue with any of our leaders. This is a party matter, and I will discuss the issues in the party forum. I will not make comments in the media,” Sadananda Gowda said in response to queries from reporters over the issue on the sidelines of a function at an educational institution. The CM, however, could not conceal his displeasure over the turn of events in the party with Yeddyurappa and Eshwarappa locking horns.When it was pointed that Yeddyurappa has refused to attend the core committee meeting, Sadananda Gowda said, “My job is to convene the meeting. Other things will be taken care of by the party leadership. I am ready to discuss all subjects within four walls (of the party) and resolve the differences among various leaders.”
