EC notice to KCR over remarks

HYDERABAD: The Election Commission has issued a notice to TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao for allegedly making religious remarks during the campaign for the ensuing bypolls.The TRS president was asked to reply to the notice by 3 p.m.on Thursday, state chief electoral officer (CEO) Bhanwarlal said here on Wednesday.Speaking to newsmen, Bhanwarlal said Chandrasekhar Rao allegedly made remarks against the BJP during an election campaign in Parkal on May 20. BJP had complained to the CEO that Rao instigat ed the minor i t i e s against the party during the meeting.
