Every act is a miracle

CHENNAI: Understanding of godI believe that my concept of god is a sort of supreme energy field and a source pool for positive energy. Sometimes while playing music, I experience a surge of positive energy that fills me with a sense of purpose and overall well-being. I often wonder why I can’t hold on to that feeling for a longer time. But those few moments of unmitigated bliss, I believe, is the presence of god. Someone releases some positive energy into the system and it sustains us despite the drudgery, pettiness and wickedness. For every person who releases negative energy, there is someone equally releasing effective positive energy. Every such act is a miracle and every day becomes a series of such miracles. My parents, wife and in-laws are living examples of miracle-makers, manifesting belief and positive energy in my life.Take on religionReligion is a habitat for faith, a spiritual infrastructure and a more formalised overarching system for a set of  beliefs and values. For most people it symbolises ritual. I believe that there is far more to it than that. Religion endows each human being with a choice — either to respect it or not.
