Faridabad: Student succumbs to burns

Faridabad: The Class VIII student who immolated himself in a Faridabad school succumbed to injuries on Monday.

The student, who told the police about a teacher who scolded and punished him unnecessarily, had taken the extreme step in November.

Based on the statements given by the boy and his family members, police have registered an FIR for abetment to suicide. He had held his teacher responsible for his decision to end life.
