However, they were granted bail after being produced in court. The goat's criminal activities include grazing in the garden and eating plants and vegetables.
The incident occurred in Korea district of Chhattisgarh. The arrest came following a complaint reportedly by the gardener of district magistrate Hemant Ratre.
According to police, they acted on a written complaint filed by the gardener.
