Have not taken any decision: Ganguly on his resignation
The Cabinet is all set to decide on former Supreme Court judge AK Ganguly's fate as West Bengal Human Rights Panel chief.

Kolkata: Continuing his defiant stand over his resignation, former Supreme Court judge AK Ganguly on Thursday said that he is yet to decide on his resignation. "I have seen media reports about my removal. I have not taken any decision about resignation. I'm watching the situation now," Ganguly told CNN-IBN.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet is all set to decide on his fate as West Bengal Human Rights Panel chief. The Ministry of Home Affairs note has listed three allegations against Ganguly including sexually harassing a law intern, according to sources.

The allegations also include his visit to Pakistan without taking permission from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and accepting paid hospitality from a private party even when he was in the position of state human rights chief.

The sources have also said that Attorney General of India GE Vahanvati is of the view that a case for removing Justice Ganguly is made out in the sexual harassment matter. However, the MHA wants the Cabinet to consider all allegations.
