Howrah: A girl jumped from the first floor to escape rape attempt in Howrah, West Bengal. Three people including her boyfriend have been arrested.
The girl had jumped from the first floor onto a wall and then on a pile of mud. The incident took place on Sunday evening at Liluah near Kolkata.
The 20-year-old girl was allegedly given a spiked drink by her boyfriend. The girl jumped off building when boyfriend and others allegedly tried to rape her.
She was rescued by locals and is in hospital.
The police have lodged an FIR with Liluah police station and the accused would be produced in
court later.
