Hugh Jackman reveals that he almost castrated himself with Wolverine's claws

New Delhi: Superstar and 'X Men Days Of Future Past' actor Hugh Jackman almost had a serious injury while shooting as Wolverine in the upcoming superhero movie releasing on May 23.

The Aussie Wolverine hottie revealed that he had come close to castrating himself with the Wolverine claws, while promoting 'X Men Days Of Future Past' recently.

Jackman was shooting a nude scene when he had his brush with mutilation, he says, "There was a very intense first scene and I insisted on a closed set," Jackman said.

"I ran around the corner and all the female members of the crew were gathered there. I tried to cover myself and cut my inner thigh," Jackman continued.

"It was just the inner thigh, thankfully. The metal claws had to go-you can't have bits and pieces flying off."

Hugh Jackman is back as the highly popular mutant Wolverine in the upcoming film 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' releasing on 23rd May in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in India.
