London: Pop star Katy Perry has had a difficult year following her divorce from Russell Brand and on-off relationship with John Mayer. And now the singer has decided to put her love life on hold to concentrate on achieving spiritual happiness, reported Daily Mail.
The 27-year-old singer has taken inspiration from Elizabeth Gilbert's post-divorce memoir 'Eat, Pray, Love' and embarked on a soul-searching quest, starting by climbing a volcano.
Perry tweeted a picture of herself at the top of the volcano, along with the caption, 'I ate, I prayed, I climbed a volcano.'
In the picture, Perry is seen with her arms spread out to the side, wearing leggings, a hooded sweatshirt and a backpack, taking in the sights. Perry's divorce from British comedian Brand was finalised in July and just a few months afterwards, the 'Firework' hitmaker sparked rumours of a romance with fellow singer Mayer.
